Our Story
Hi everyone my name is Anita and I began Feather & Bone with the desire to provide the Falkland Islands community with easy access to high quality; cosmetics, apparel, haircare and supplements. I want Feather & Bone to be your one stop shop for self-care and gifts to spoil the ones you love, no matter who you are or what your budget may be.
Feather & Bone was designed for the alternative and creative people within our community that are looking for a little individuality.
With this in mind we will only be purchasing one unit of each t-shirt design, etc. We have a lovely community of around 3,500 residents all with different styles, preferences, skin-types/textures and other personal requirements.
I believe this should not only be celebrated but allowances should be made within local businesses to provide both necessary and luxury products to these individuals. Everyone should have access to products/services that make them feel as though they are truly representing themselves.
I want each and every one of my customers to feel free to ask for advice so please get in touch via the contact us page with any questions, queries or suggestions.

ANITA
Hi I’m Anita Rees, I grew up in the U.K but came to the Falkland Islands in 2017, having completed an N.V.Q in beauty therapy. My mother was born in the Islands but left when she was 12. My Nan would tell me stories of the islands and her experiences when I was younger, she greatly inspired my visit .
When I arrived I found a new family, friends and an extraordinary way of life. The Falkland Islands Community has been very welcoming and I look forward to being able to pay back in the form of quality products and advice!
I hope Feather&Bone can be a useful outlet for the local community to express themselves.
ANDY
Andy was born and raised in the islands. He is a Musician, Artist, Scientist and incredible partner. In both business and life!
Andy will be assisting in deliveries. (by that I mean he will be my driver!)
Behind the scenes he is my supplements specialist, fashion corespondent and general supporter of everything!
If you make any enquiries regarding our supplement supply the likelihood is that he will be responding to your request.
I would Highly recommend watching this space. In the not so distant future I will be proudly posting about his own private venture that we are both incredibly excited about!
LEVI
You will most likely see Levi on deliveries with us, she makes a very good supervisor!
She has a P.H.D in unicornicology and is currently specialising in Rainbow studies. If you ever need to know the difference between an Alacorn and an Earth pony there is nobody better to ask! We first met Levi in 2020 she was very small, couldn’t speak and relied on us for pretty much everything.
Since then she has become the most important person in either of our lives and now speaks (a lot!)
We’re not too sure if any of this would be happening without her so thank you Levi for helping us to grow and giving us the best job in the entire world, being your parents!
